Courage Lab: Our Colonized Context

Courage Lab - January 2015

Are you interested in expanding the conversation of equity and anti-oppression using arts-based practices?

I love, love, love Courage Lab!

Over the past few years, I’ve noticed a trend of asking a handful of “qualified” professionals who are asked to facilitate one-off workshops on Anti-Oppression and Equity. Battling systems of oppression is a job for everyone, involves everyone, and is an ongoing process. From my understanding, Courage Lab was born in order to distribute the “teacher vs. student” dynamic, share our collective knowledge, and root learning into art-making. You could be a complete beginner or a “guru” in the field – all are welcome and encouraged to participate!
Look out for the next one in March 2015.
